The Challenge
YCMIHOC provides critical services for first-time homebuyers, but their digital presence was holding them back. While the original site was functional, the owner faced a major hurdle: unreliability. Simple updates took weeks to process due to a non-responsive developer. In a fast-moving real estate and education market, waiting weeks for a change is a lost opportunity.
The Solution
I rebuilt the YCMIHOC site from the ground up with two goals: Speed and Independence. Performance Overhaul: Eliminated legacy bloat to ensure fast loading for users on mobile data. Class Automation: Integrated a custom registration and payment system. Instead of manual back-and-forth, students can now view schedules for Clarksville, Nashville, and Smyrna, register, and pay in one seamless flow. Developer Accessibility: I provided a clean, documented backend and established a reliable communication line, ensuring the owner is never “left in the dark” again.
